A Little About Me
Since this is the first time I have ever had a blog of my own, I will make my intro pretty brief. Ny name is Rachel and this blog will be used for genealogy. I DO NOT want any kind of obscene material whatsoever on my blog. It will be used for genealogy only. I will upload data on my anscestors and maybe add news of my family every now and then. So enjoy and leave me a note every once in awhile and let me know what you think.
I have a wonderful family. My husband Dennis and I have been married 13 years and have 5 grown children among us. I have 3 daughters and Dennis has 1 son and 1 daughter. All 5 get along beautifully. There are 8 grandchildren, ages range from 20 years old and 2 1/2 years old. Our 20 year old grandson is in the Marines and our 19 year old grandson is in the Air Force. Pretty proud of both of them. Our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter is in the terrible two stage, but we love her anyway.
We are expecting our first great grandchild sometime in October. Pretty exciting huh? Well, it is to us.

Rachel, I am a descendent of Jordan Vann. Do you have any information as to who his father was ?
My GG Grandfather was Neal Baker Vann. He married Cordelia Moriah Elizabeth Formby. I have all that information if you would like.

I have been researching the Vaughts this week (haven’t uploaded to my website yet). Just thought that I would let you know I have information on Benjamin Franklin Vaught. He died on 7 Jan 1867 in Caddo Gap, Montgomery, Arkansas. He was Sarah’s husband. When Sarah died (1848), her sister Elizabeth. Silas, Ben and Sarah’s son, married my great grand aunt.
